This series was taken over 1000 hours of walking these chalk lands. Immersion in vast and beautiful landscapes like the South Downs can create the space and silence for introspection. Solitude, combined with feeling part of something bigger creates a sensory connection to the physical landscape and the present. In the South Downs the sculptured, stark contrasts and panoramic often eerie skies evoke an ethereal realm.
